National Provincial Championships
NPC Requirements
The following items are requirements set by Water Polo Canada for participation in the 2023-2024 National Provincial Championships (NPC). These requirements apply to all age categories. Each member type (athlete, coach, referee, etc) will have different requirements. All requirements must be submitted to your Sideline Learning account.
NPC Athlete Requirements:
- Competitive level registration in RAMP (including signed WPC Consent Form and payment of all membership fees)
- Abuse-Free Sport (OSIC) Participant Agreement via their portal - Deadline: June 30, 2024 *Note: If the player is under the age of majority, then a parent/guardian must complete it on their behalf.
NPC Coach Requirements:
- Competitive coach level registration in RAMP (including signed WPC Consent Form and payment of all membership fees)
- Abuse-Free Sport (OSIC) Participant Agreement via their portal - Deadline: June 30, 2024
- Water Polo Canada Screening Disclosure Form
- A valid Enhanced Criminal Record Check (must have been complete after August 31, 2021).
- Must meet all PSO requirements (click here for WPS Coaching Requirements).
To check your course status or to find the links to each course, use the link at the bottom of this page to access the Sideline Learning Portal. If you have not accessed your Sideline Learning account before, search your inbox for an email from info@sidelinelearning.com with your username and a temporary password to log in.
Water Polo Canada and Water Polo Saskatchewan will be using Sideline Learning to track these requirements for all athletes, coaches, referees, etc. Members will have received an email from Sideline Learning with account information and direct links to all required courses.
