New to Minor Officiating?
Water Polo Saskatchewan presents our FREE MINOR OFFICIALS online training course!
This course is required for all new minor officials.

Fee for minor officials registration: $16.00 (covers the cost of insurance as a member on pool deck)

Trained Minor Officials
A trained Minor Official is someone who has taken a Minor Official course delivered by WPS or another water polo organization and has game experience. We do not require our trained Minor Officials to take a course annually. However, you are more than welcome to retake the course as a refresher (see info above).

Requirements Summary
- RAMP Registration: All persons must be registered as a Minor Official with their Saskatchewan club before signing up for volunteer slots.
- Training: All new Minor Officials must take the WPS Minor Official Course before registering.
- Screening Disclosure/Screening Renewal Forms: All Minor Officials must complete the Screening Disclosure form every 3 years, and the Screening Renewal Form every year they do not submit the disclosure form. Upload is required during RAMP registration.

Volunteer Minor Official Sign-Up
Minor Officials will sign up for time slots to officiate at Community League games, Provincial events, or the Provincial Elite League games (please see the info below for details on where to find the MO sign-ups). The minor officials will have an opportunity to run both the game clock/scorekeeper role, as well as the game sheet role and any other role added depending on the event requirements.
